Brent had his first day yesterday.

Leaves behind a company/role that he was about 5/10 on and landed with an organization right in his niche, one that was so excited he was joining. Salary goes up roughly $40k and he’ll get to a deploy a strategic vision that hasn’t been used in a few years.

On day one, HR shared a little behind-the-scenes on how it all came together.

Brent never applied. Never sent outreach.

So, how did this kick off and turn into an amazing opportunity?

A profile view.

He viewed the profile of the HR team member who then turned around and reviewed Brent’s profile which then motivated them to send the profile to their internal recruiter and say, “this is our guy. Get him on the phone!”

3 weeks later he’s onboarding with them.

Here's what gets me - he told me he never researched the people inside a company before we worked together. Only the company itself. One small shift in habit. One profile view. That's what started all of it!

The role doesn't find you. But sometimes, when you're doing the right things quietly, it gets pretty close.
