Imagine if you admitted this for your job search

Most people won’t ask what you’re looking for — but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to help. Here’s how to make it easy for them to open doors for you.

Let’s show up the right way👇

Stop waiting for the perfect question

Start giving people something real to respond to

If you're hoping someone will ask, "What are you looking for?" — they probably won't.

Not because they don't care.

But because they don't know what to say.

The shift happens when you go first.

Instead of waiting, try this:
— Share what you're exploring
— Say why it matters
— Mention ONE thing you've done to move toward it

No pitch. No pressure. Just context.

That simple clarity opens doors:
— People introduce you to the right folks
— Share jobs or ideas you didn’t know existed
— Offer help without being asked

The truth is, you're not asking from a blank page. You’re showing thought, action, and intent. Thus, people want to invest.

If you’re still waiting for the “right” moment — this might be it.

You don’t need to be impressive.

Just clear enough to start real conversations.

#PrescribedByDx - Admit it.

I’m out this weekend. Another business investment, it cost me $2,800, and I’m excited to dive in. I’ll spend 3 days fully immersed in mastering my sales craft.

I’ve never considered myself great at selling, so why not admit it?

I’m bad and need help. Every time I’ve admitted I’m not good at something, in 6-12 months, I’ve conquered and proved myself wrong.

Let’s get to work 🤝

Questions to let your audience help you

  • What ONE problem do you solve?

  • What ONE role are you targeting?

  • Who do you enjoy serving the most?

  • What's a favorite recent accomplishment?

Before you leave…

Need support building your post to attract the right folks?

This is the work I’m doing right now with others.
